Winter Michigan Wedding | Kasandra & Brandon

Kasandra and Brandon’s winter Michigan wedding is definitely one I won’t forget! For sure, to date, the coldest wedding I’ve shot! It didn’t get over 18 degrees and we could only last outside for 15 minutes at the most, but these 2 were real MVP’s!

The moment Kasandra stepped into her gorgeous custom-made gown, the tears started flowing! She incorporated lace from her mom’s wedding dress into the bodice which transitioned so well into the elegant material that flowed down into a long train ending with even more lace.

The ceremony was a beautiful yet bittersweet celebration of the couple as Kasandra will be moving all the way to Florida to join Brandon. The union between the 2 of them was so sweet to witness, yet knowing she will be moving away brought many tears among the guests.

We headed out to her neighbor’s property for their portraits after the ceremony. It was SO cold but we managed to grab some beautiful portraits! On our way out, the neighbor offered Kasandra to hop on the horse, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity!

The reception was nothing short of FUN! The guests showed up ready to have fun and I had the best time capturing the bouquet and fish toss! Their sparkler exit was filled with cheers, laughter, chants and bittersweet goodbye’s. It was a night I won’t forget!
