ASHLEY + OSCAR | ROMANTIC SEATTLE WEDDING

Bride and groom portraits on Tacoma Point Defiance Ferry

Being able to return to Washington for Ashley & Oscar’s romantic Seattle wedding was beyond my dreams. Seattle has a beauty that is incomparable. Having the opportunity to shoot in the beautiful state of Washington again for another Apostolic wedding has been like a dream come true.

Ashley and Oscar came against many obstacles and difficulties during their wedding planning. Thanks to COVID, they had to change venues, wedding parties, and so many more little details. I received calls from Ashley seeking advice on decisions to make, and I was happy to help however I could!

In spite of the many struggles they faced, Ashley and Oscar’s day was so romantic and full of thoughtful touches. Ashley opted for a first look with her dad and brother as well as her bridesmaids and Pastor and Pastor’s wife.

The ceremony was unforgettable. The couple wanted to incorporate worship into their ceremony. It brought a sweet presence of God so beautifully in the sanctuary. They also chose to have the ministers that were present to pray over them and bless them in their new union.

Their petal exit was a ton of fun to shoot! The guests did not disappoint with the amount of petals they threw. There was a lot of laughter from the guests and honestly, I’m kind of a fan of petal exits now!

After the exit, we headed out to one of their favorite locations, the Tacoma Chinese Reconciliation Park. They have spent a lot of time at this park together and Oscar even proposed to Ashley there!

Then we jumped on a ferry for some oh so romantic portraits! It was cold and the wind was blowing strong, but they both handled it like champs! Although the ferry ride ended much sooner than we anticipated, we were able to get more portraits at the Tahlequah Ferry Terminal.

It was a great honor and privilege to be there for Ashley and Oscar’s special day. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from Ashley & Oscar’s romantic Seattle wedding!
