After shooting Asiah and Michaels engagement session, I knew their timeless & elegant Houston wedding was going to be nothing short of amazing. And it did not disappoint!
I have known Asiah for many many years. I have seen her grow through different seasons in life, excel in many dreams and walk through some tough times but I never once witnessed her waver!
When Michael entered her life her genuine happiness meant the world to me. I did not have the honor of meeting Michael until their engagement session, but as soon as I met him I knew he was special and hand picked for Asiah!
Asiah’s dad is a phenomenal saxophone player and played a song before walking his daughter down the aisle. Once they reached the end of the aisle, a recording of Asiah’s voice began to play. Many tears began to flow as Asiah thanked the special people in her life that brought her to that moment. Shooting a wedding for a friend is hard stuff! You better believe I was holding back the tears behind that camera!
Asiah & Michael’s wedding was a true testimony of the genuinely kind and compassionate couple they are. So much thought and detail went in to every aspect of their day to ensure their guests felt seen, loved and cared for. And wait until you see that cake! Made by the one and only Ashley Featherstone, it was amazing to behold!
We ended the night with a rose petal toss and fireworks and my, what a beautiful day!
Asiah and Michael, you two are so so special and I just feel so honored that I was able to be there to capture these memories!
Enjoy their timeless & elegant Houston wedding!
