I love that feeling when I show up to an engagement shoot and the couple and I immediately click.

That’s how it was at Chelsea + CJ’s engagement session at a gorgeous park in Sherman, TX.

Chelsea & CJ met at a ballroom in Stillwater, OK through a mutual friend. CJ was really shy and Chelsea tried to talk him into dancing with someone. That was their first encounter.

They ran into each other later at a football game and hit it off immediately; chatting it up the entire game. With them both being athletic, they were able to find a lot to talk about easily. More time passed, and it was Chelsea’s birthday, so she sent CJ a message asking him to come by for dinner with her friends. He’s been by her side ever since!

Fast forward to their engagement session – we were supposed to meet at their property outside of Sherman, but there had just been a huge storm that passed over North Texas. The beautiful trees they wanted to have in their photo’s had all been destroyed, so we had to find a quick alternative. They suggested Herman Baker Park in Sherman, TX and wow am I glad we came here!

There was a gorgeous hill that overlooks a cute little pond and the light was hitting them just perfectly!

I felt so extremely blessed to have met Chelsea and CJ. We hit it off as if we’d known each other for years. The conversation flowed throughout the shoot and their laughs were contagious! The amount of fun these 2 have with each other should be a crime. And I am just so thankful I was able to capture these moments for them!
