Rebekah and Logan’s bright summer Texas wedding in Vidor, TX was filled with laughter, genuine smiles, so much love and the sweet presence of the Lord! And wow! What a joy to be a part! Their engagement session was the perfect prologue to their beautiful day! I couldn’t even have fathomed then what a perfect day it would turn out to be!
I have known Rebekah for many, many years. Witnessing her say I do to Logan meant so much to me. Being able to experience their day behind the camera made it even more special! I definitely had to blink back a few tears throughout the day!
Being a photographer herself, almost every decision Rebekah made was with photography in mind. It made my job so much easier! The florals in this summer wedding were absolutely to die for! I had so much fun capturing the gorgeous bright colors. I shoot a lot of neutral palettes, and being able to branch out into brighter colors both challenged me and allowed me to be more creative!
All of Rebekah’s family and friends are so incredibly sweet! This made the day so enjoyable! Rebekah’s bridesmaids were by her side, doting on her and making sure she was taken care of. Logan’s guys were so helpful throughout the day and I can definitely say there was never a dull moment when they were around!
There were so many special moments throughout their wedding day. Rebekah and Logan asked a couple of Pastor’s to speak during their ceremony. Their words of encouragement, advice and even admonishment were so fitting and truly something to remember for the rest of their marriage.
With no rain in the forecast, we were surprised by a sudden shower that began to pour in the middle of the reception. A few of the reception activities had to be moved inside, however the rain stopped just in time for their bubble exit!
We then headed to Rebekah’s parents’ property for their bride & groom portraits. Let’s just say, the light after that rain was perfectly gorgeous! And as far as capturing these two? I honestly didn’t have to do much posing at all! The joy and love radiating from this couple made it so easy! And even though it was very hot and humid, they did not complain, not even once!
Bekah and Logan, you two are an amazing example to me! Thank you for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives. I can’t wait to see where God will lead you and the wonderful plans He has in store for you!
Enjoy their beautiful, bright summer Texas wedding!
