Brittney & Caleb’s summer July Apostolic wedding in Oklahoma City was such an honor to capture! As an Apostolic myself, it was sort of like me attending a friends wedding as a guest and getting to be with so many friends!

I have known Brittney for many years and have had the privilege to get to know Caleb during the process of their engagement and wedding. Definitely check out their Dallas SMU engagement session here! I was able to see so many faces I knew, while also capturing the wedding of 2 dear friends!

The day began with capturing Brittney’s gorgeous modest lace gown and the cutest soft pink shoes with a bow detail on the back. We then went in the Sunday School room area of Brittney’s home church to capture her getting ready with all of her amazing bridesmaids! Each one of them were so kind and definitely a huge help to me throughout the entire day!

The bridesmaids all wore beautiful Dainty Jewells dresses in navy blue and her maid of honor in pink. Such a cute compliment of colors! Caleb and his guys sported classy navy suits with blue paisley ties, while Caleb opted for a polka dot maroon tie. So glad to see a groom really upping his style and choosing a mixture of patterns and colors!

Brittney’s first look with her step dad and dad were definitely tear jerkers. Like, who’s cuttin’ onions in here?! And let’s not overlook their beautiful low-light church ceremony in Brittney’s home church in Oklahoma City.

Their reception was filled with tons of laughter and fun moments I am sure they are never to forget! One tradition I love that is not quite as popular is when the groomsmen steal the groom and take his shoes so that they can pass it around to the guests to fill with money for their honeymoon. So fun!

After their reception, we headed out to take their bride and groom portraits in downtown Oklahoma City where Caleb proposed to Brittney. It was such a beautiful location and so nostalgic to them to go back to where she said yes! Brittney and Caleb are so great at posing and make their portraits a joy to capture! They were up for anything and went along with all of my ideas, making sure I got everything I wanted!

Brittney & Caleb’s Apostolic wedding in Oklahoma City was so special to me, and I am just honored I was able to be there and capture these moments!
