When Luis, a former high school classmate of mine, contacted me about photographing his wedding, I was beyond excited! I always remember him being extremely polite and so down to earth, so I could not wait to meet his soon to be bride. I was not disappointed! Tori was the PERFECT match for Luis! From the moment we met I knew she would make a lovely bride & amazing companion to Luis. In spite of the pouring rain, their wedding day was filled with so much laughter and love!

As soon as I walked into the bridal room, I was greeted with smiles and laughter and an announcement that tacos were on the way! Um, hello! Totally speaking my love language! Tori & her girls along with her sweet mom were sitting and talking, savoring and enjoying Tori’s special morning. From that moment I knew that the day was going to be magical. No stress, no worry, just fun and laughter.

As Tori began getting her hair and make up done, they sat around and laughed and told stories. As a photographer, it’s easy for us to get caught up in staying within the timeline and making sure we dot all of our I’s and cross all of out T’s. We can easily forget to relax and enjoy the day, but Tori & her girls made it SO easy for me!

During bridal party portraits, it began POURING rain immediately, almost without warning! But Tori and Luis did not let the weather affect the day and remained in high spirits and were willing to trust me with any suggestions or idea’s I had.

Thank you Luis, for considering me to be the photographer for your special day, and thank you Tori for immediately agreeing and being the sweetest bride! When you see the smiles in these pictures, you will see the love that these 2 have for each other, and I am just overjoyed that I was able to witness it!

I love capturing sweet moments like this of mom helping her daughter get ready. The adoring smile on moms face is so priceless. This moment was no different!

Their first look was SO sweet! Luis’ tears when he saw his bride are why I love doing first looks!

It was such an awesome surprise to see all of Luis’ groomsmen! I went to high school with ALL of them! It has been 10 years since I have seen them! Crazy!

Tori’s bridesmaids were SO sweet and fun! Never a dull moment with them!
